As a Brit, a Taff to be more precise, living in Canada, my Speed and Strength jacket has a concealed pocket for a gun, as it’s from the states. It’s ideal for my mobile/cell phone and maybe some mints.
I would be seriously worried wearing a jacket that everybody knows about the concealed gun pocket as you go to get your phone out
During the 1990s and early 2000s, I was very fortunate enough to do many business trips to Atlanta, GA (actually just outside Atlanta). I really enjoyed those trips, weekends exploring Georgia, and made a few good friends among the folks I worked with. One evening, out for dinner with a group of colleagues and friends, I made a very bad mistake. It was just after a mass shooting somewhere in the USA. We were relaxed, chatting and joking over a beer or three, and I made the mistake of questioning US gun ownership and lack of gun control laws (I might have used the word, 'madness')... Oh dear.... That soured the evening somewhat...
Gun Why not be safe and just open the bloody throttle and watch those needles climb And ofcourse pray that we don't get shot in the arse I guess the most offensive tool I ever carried on my bike is a small 3 inch folding knife during my Europe trip
I can't imagine what it must be like to live in a culture where guns are freely available. I know things aren't perfect in our country at least there is limited chance that you will be confronted by somebody carrying a gun.... Wessa
Let’s face it guns of any type/caliber are not dangerous irrespective of where they are in the world,they’re no more dangerous than a feather duster. It’s the people that use them that make them dangerous. Just the same owning a motorcycle. I wouldn’t mind a pound £ for every time I’ve heard someone say that motorcycles are dangerous, no a motorcycle isn’t dangerous. It’s the people using them and other road users that make riding a motorcycle dangerous.
I will stick to my 3" folding knife. Yes dilligaf.... Folding knife I even managed to bloody cut my finger trying to open that blade Imagine me with a gun.. I'd probably have an accidental discharge and put a bloody hole on my motorbike tank and blow my bollocks n all Guns... No thank you
Dave not sure you can compare guns and motorcycles, yes they are both dangerous but for very different reasons.... just saying. I’ll get my coat! Wessa
When we were kids, we used to put shotgun cartridges in a knot hole through a fence post and hit the detonator with a hammer and nail, it makes me shudder just thinking about it now.
I live in the state of Indiana. I have a carry license which means I can carry a pistol out of my home. It does not have to be concealed however when I do choose to carry it I conceal it as to not draw undo attention to myself. Anyone over the age of 18 can purchase and carry a rifle in my state without a license which in my opinion is ridiculous however our constitution reserves their right to do so. I am not the guy to agree with making changes to the constitution because its a slippery slope. You can buy a handgun without a license but it cannot leave your home unless you are taking it to the range in which it must be in a locked case, placed in the trunk unloaded. Ammunition must be stored in a separate place in the vehicle. My license is for life since Im a veteran so even if I go nuts someday I wont have to get it renewed.
