Although the racer kit tail tidy slims down the rear I still wasn’t happy with the long tail bit mounting the reflector and no plate light. As most of you will know the bracket has a trombone type extension fastened on with 2 bolts. I removed it and disconnected the no plate light unit. I then re drilled the no plate light mounting holes above the plate mount and fed the wire through an existing hole at the back of the plate, reconnecting it into the loom and pushing the spare length of wire inside the bracket. I mounted the plate on double sided tape onto the existing plate mount. I like the finished look and if needs be I can put one of the little round (mot pass) self adhesive refelectors onto the plate or bracket.

No, I only meant on the look because the red breaks up the black. I’m 100% sure if you’re in front of an unhappy plod £100. is going to leave your pocket!
