Out and about this morning at 08:30 after the first breakfast of the day and the outside temp had risen according to the thermometer to 3*c.

Met my riding buddy at 08:45 and we’re off through Congleton, over the top to Buxton via the A54 picking up the A6 before turning left onto the B6049 through Millers Dale and Litton.
Turning right onto the A623 for half a mile calling into Yondermann Cafe for my second breakfast, well we had just ridden 50 miles in chilly conditions

Decided not to use the Tiger for today’s rideout, so it was the turn of my old 1984 Honda CB700 Nighthawk to stretch its legs. She’s having a rest at Yondermann Cafe carpark.

Fuelled up with the second breakfast and a couple of coffees it’s the home leg via Chapel-en-le Frith, Whaley Bridge.
Picking up the B5470 to Macclesfield, through Macc and onto Holmes Chapel via the B5392 and onwards home.
    Total mileage 98 miles.

Got home at about 12:15 and wifey was out,,,,wtf where’s my lunch

The bike probably thought you'd picked up a passenger after the second breakfast!

Lovely looking breakfast as well :p
I’ve been past the Yondermann many times, may have to stop and check it out next year.

Good morning! I like your Nighthawk very much. I recently picked up a "project" much like it. Mine is an 85 model, red in color 650. It runs very well for a bike it's age, but needs a few pieces. Mostly a little bit of TLC!

Hi, mine is a 1984 model.

Had it about 8 or 9 years now, the only problem I have is the low seat height and the knee and hip joints are starting to seize.
I was considering selling her but we’ll see.

My riding buddy has just rebuilt a 650 Nighthawk, it’s as good as new now as are the 30 odd other bikes he’s rebuilt/owns and he uses them.
    He’s fanatical about his rebuilds.

I think you should sell her, for immediate health benefits. I think I might just know a guy who will give you at least £100 for her tomorrow. I right bargain if I say so myself.

    Bro!

Honda 700S brings many good memories. It is probably the best bike I ever owned! Power, comfort, and low maintenance. I wish Honda would bring it back!

I have T Tiger XRX now. Good bike with a lot of fancy stuff but I miss 700S.
