This item is currently part of the Triumph sale and is available for £51.59. Has anyone got one fitted to their Bonneville and what are they like, comfort wise? My Newchurch seat is the standard offering and is rather plank like after a couple of hours. I like the Burton bike parts seats, but I also like this sale price, just looking for some positive user comments before I take the plunge. Curly
I have one on my Bonnie and I am very pleased with it. I don’t do long journeys but I do find it far more comfy than the stock seat and at that price it’s a bargain!!!! If you don’t like it you could probably sell it in the spring and get your money back!!
I bought a brand new unused gell single seat off Gumtree for £40 (+£7 rail fare) a couple of years back. Def improvement over stock. Keep am eye on Ebay and such.
No reply from Triumph Chesterfield so in view of other posts about availability I'm writing that one off. Your seat looks terrific, thanks for the gen Gazza, time for me to get something sorted. Every time I ride back to Burton from Portsmouth I end up with severe arse ache, I can put up with it but why bother when a far superior seat like yours, in appearance as well, is available at a very reasonable cost? Curly
Just seen your post Gazza, been removing some light scratches from my exhaust. Very generous of you! I can easily make the Arboretum, its just up the road from me. I would be in the car however, bike is sorned and batteryless at present. Would that make any difference? I appreciate that rain will cancel whatever. Curly
1230 it is then, weather permitting, looking forward to checking your (bike) seat out Gazza. Sorry for the delayed response, had to shoot over to Leicester and just got back home.
Many thanks for turning out and letting me have the once over of your seat Gazza, I appreciate it. The seat is really lovely and I have no doubt I'll be placing an order soon. Trouble is the rest of your bike! It's something to behold and makes my Newchurch look like a very poor relation! You've got me thinking now............. Thanks again Curly
