    Hi all!
Recently took ownership of a 2017 Speed Triple R. My dream bike that I've been after for as long as i can remember. Had a Street Triple R for 6 years and the first ride home from the dealership was one i'll remember for the rest fo my life. I never realised how big a difference it would be, in a the best possible way. I felt like a kid at xmas when i opened the throttle and it just inspired confidence in the road like nothing i'd felt before. As you can tell i love it!!
So, my question is this. What is your opinion are the most essential add-ons you think i would need to have. Its bog standard all original and i loved tweaking my old bike with all things both mechanical and cosmetic. Hopefully nothing too expensive so i can slip it on without the wife noticing the credit card!! But hey, can you put a price on happiness?!?
    Happy riding folks.

Welcome! I too just bought a Speedy R, albeit a 2012 model but still love it.
Not much to do in terms of add-ons really. Maybe get your suspension setup properly for yourself. A new exhaust makes riding all the more fun with the banging and popping. And I'm not sure about those tyres in the winter :)

Welcome to the Forum, Nice bike!
Low boy exhaust, tail tidy will improve the looks and lower weight (literally shift it down on the bike in the case of lowboy), if you're not taking a pillion get rid of the pegs & add seat cowl as per BB3's suggestion.
But set the bikes suspension up for your weight, this is the single best thing you can do with any bike before throwing money as performance mods.
    Enjoy you bike.

    Hi Papa

Very nice bike indeed and glad you are enjoying it so much

I happen to have a pair of genuine Triumph frame sliders I don't need from a 2016 r Speed Triple.
If you would like these at a bargain price then please do PM me

I've just bought a Street Triple (literally, as in today), and I'm having frame protectors, heated grips, tail tidy, grab rails and paddock stand bobbins fitted before I ride it home. The only other thing I'll fit - once I've decided which option to go for - is either a Yoshimura or SC Project exhaust.

Hi Papa, nice ride, enjoy your bike and the forum.
Guys have covered most things and I agree in ride improvement first - tyres and suspension. Exhaust and brakes next, but I see you have brembos up front

Great thanks for all the help. I suppose the best thing i can do is look up and learn how to play with my suspension. Paid for the ohlins so may as well use them! yeah the brakes are pretty special so they are going no where.

Welcome to the forum. Those boys and girl at Edinburgh are a nice bunch. Purchased my 1200 bonnie from them and they pulled out all the stops for me. Made it a real easy choice right down to the bike sitting in my garage at very little expense. And were nice to deal with. And its been said lovely machine.
