so I'm in the middle of the center headlight bulb replacement......owners manual gives me one sentence.
''Remove the cockpit.'' Thats nice, might as well say build a triumph from scratch!! wtf, no clues' no photos...not even a start here and best of luck!! just ''remove the cockpit''...Has anyone attempted and how much of a job is this.....I have no shelter and rain will be looming in the near future.

Start at the black screwd holding the screen . There is a thread here about headlight bulb s that goes into detail. Get yourself a Haynes manual the areore step by step.
I'm not at home I'll check later.

    searching.....
not for nothing, but the search engine here, sucks.....for lack of a better term.

everytime I ask for a search itt says error?! what error?!.......I'l just grab a spanner and keep going til something falls off.......then do what I have to and throw it back together......as for the hynes manual....ordered, not here yet..........And just like every other presumptious, impatient American, I can't wait, lol.

next we have 2 bolts basically on opposite sides one is a support for the water tank. the other is a simple support. remove these first, then the MAIN BOLTS.....but when putting back togather take the cockpit and just use the main bolts as a support to put these 2 back in.....one is easy the one next to the stator is a PITA!!!! (Top TIP) I used scotch tape to secure the bolt to the socket and a short extension and got it in by hand.....then tightened later with socket wrench.

the little black hole all the way to the right is where the bolt goes....not the brass ones, sorry it isn't that easy,LOL

All in All it went back together with ease.....however I guess I got impatient the last plastic black bolt on the bottom of the windscreen became pushed in....irritating but screw it....I can live without it for now.
the finished product, led's; low AND high beams!!
