Tuesday 6th November. This Muc off cleaner is brilliant, i bought 2 litres a couple of weeks ago and was well impressed, i paid approx £12.50 for 2 litres, but…….. Have a look at this folks…. 2 x 5 litres off branded MUC OFF for £19.99, thats 10 litres making it £2 per litre…… I've just ordered mine…. you should to as not sure how long this is gonna last……free postage too…... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302687988000
That's the real question. I know muc off has very low salt levels and is safe for carbon and it won't leave streaks. I use it on my carbon fibre race bicycle as well as my (real) bikes. 10L of the stuff will last me more than 2 years so I'm not that fussed about scrimping.
Its also good for cleaning a glass/ceramic hobbs too, no streaks and comes up like new…..or anything else around the house, i cleaned my wifes wheels on her car earlier, gets rid of all that black crud that doesnt come off, the stuff that builds up over the years…...
They're little pieces of cloth that you put into your tumble dryer to make your clothes smell nice. Find them in the laundry isle in a supermarket and rub your wheels with them.
whats the theory behind that, i use GT85 lube spray, its the best stuff to use as it has ptfe in it, rather than wd40….have you tried it…?
I think there is a small amount of detergent or something in each sheet. I normally rinse off any large dirt and then finish them off with the sheets as they somehow magically clean better than any brush or cloth I try. I do use GT85 - it's great. Planet X sells it in bulk for just over a £1 a bottle.
I need to buy a new helmet, maybe an arai or shoei but cant find the right colours or design…. any ideas…? one for my wife too
I think the benefits come from cleaning regularly, a quick spray, leave it for ten minutes, wash it off, have a look at this, stuart filingham is a bit of a perfectionist…
Used genuine Muc-Off and the cheap one crispey mentioned earlier from Poundland (Dirty Bike it's called). Couldn't tell the difference if I'm honest. Also don't use Muc-off anymore as it dulls the mag wheels on the Bonnie. Soap and water!
I hunk the same goes for muc off but I think it says it on the instructions, but real men don’t read them anyway
Been using muc off for years only worth bout getting in bulk I.e 5 lets,as original post get deals on buy 5ltr get 5ltr watch out for cheaper alternatives as most not ph neutral,it’s fine on dirt or road bikes I used it on my cr250 that bike got filthy caked in mud cleaned after every track meeting
