Best of luck next year. I wanted to go racing nearly 40 years ago, I had a tuned Suzuki X7 that could blow RD 400's off the road but had no money to back it up. It was my daily workhorse so if I raced it and crashed I was screwed for getting to work the next week . Glad you're having a go, be watching your posts with interest .

As a Bandit owner (albeit the watercooled variety) I'll be following your progress with great interest and I would very much like to attend one or more of your meetings next season. Good Luck !

Yep like you I always like to be prepared. An old saying for me is the 6 ‘p’s- planning and preparation prevents piss poor performance.....

Good going Billy, stage one completed with success

I wouldn’t have thought that the narrow tight Three Sisters course would have been ideal for an intro, I know a few years ago Darley Moor was used for the course and that is a better circuit.
I suppose it came cheap for the ACU

    Keep us posted mate.

    Billy, I agree with Dave.

I remember listening to an interview with race ace the late Derek Minter in the 1960’s when he basically said that if he’s going to push really hard then he does it in fast corners as that’s when you make up the most time

Glad to hear it's all going to plan Bill, none of my business mate but I'd advise against racing in your boxers, even if it does keep the weight down , just kidding, me and my lad met JR years ago, once when they used to hold a stunt weekend at Blanford camp and also when Beaulieu used to hold a cracking bike show in the grounds, I believe it stopped as one year the weather was atrocious and they lost a lot of money, shame as it used to be a cracking day out.

That's a p#sser mate, as you say, who'd have thought they'd be fully booked at this time of year, have you tried any other tracks?
