I changed the seat on my America & decided to take off the bags & supports. Think it looks pretty good, but gawd knows where I'm going to stow all the clutter I usually carry around.

Re-fitted the leather seat cover on my riders seat today, after a few hundred miles in the saddle it had stretched a little. Also added some extra foam cushioning which i sculptured to blend in on top of the factory foam to help keep me brains comfy. The extra foam pad isnt 100% perfect fit but its good enough for me & hardly noticeable.

Managed to get all the staples fully home this time by simply heating the hard plastic seat base prior to stapling.... Made life so much easier! :upyeah:

ok mate, they sure look better without... I have zip off ones but did not fancy lace tie ups onto the stays hanging around the rear wheel so have used zip ties..but not so de-tachable now

Lmao SB, yes I have given up on the rotation thing....
Hmmm yeah a little smaller than I expected, although the front on pic makes it look dim too as the camera was compensating for the head light....

I'm not bitter, I've just had a nice cup of tea! And I'm confident we're not going to have a hose pipe ban this year!
