    Hi Guys.

Just thought I'd share my weekend plans as it looks like a nice weekend weather wise.
Later to day gona go to the roadside café in Thetford for burger and chips. It's a nice ride and staying away from the boring dual carriage ways and keeping to the lanes a nice ride of about 200 miles....done 2 up with my partner of course.
Then tomorrow, I'm gona give the TBird a posh wash. Me and my partner have an understanding....she cleans the house and I clean the bike. Told her it takes all day as I (obviously) have to do safety checks...make sure her seat isn't going to fall off...her footboards don't drop off....blah blah...so I obviously won't have time to help with the housework as I'll be fully occupied making sure the bike is safe for her. Plenty of polishing and standing back to admire all the shininess I've created :p
So, my moto for the weekend is.....
    Saturday....out on the bike
    Sunday....not a vacuum in sight.

Stay upright guys and watch for fallen leaves.

Hi Dave and welcome! Sounds like you mastered the techniques to be excused :joy:. That said of course the safety checks is crucial, you wouldn't want to loose the precious cargo on the back now do you ;)

Thanks for the welcome, Angus. I'm now calling her 'my precious'....not sure which film I heard that on!

Why not go for a long ride on both days? Polishing is just riding time wasted! :D:D

Hi guys. Got a 1700 commander. I'm also one of those bikers (probably of the sad kind) that enjoy cleaning as well as riding.
