Featured Touring 2019 Scottish Road Trip 26th May To 2nd June

yes we were supposed to take that road this year but it was closed and there was a diversion we had to go to Dinnet before joining the A93

 

Last time I rode it there was quite a lot of grass Mohican!

Theres a couple of guys still to pay for the hostel in Braemar,(they havn't logged on for a few days so they won't have seen my PM to them) i'm away for a few weeks,so i won't be able to send them confirmation of payment (i won't be online) but i'll do it once i get back

 

Figwold, Ken, Nick, Bubble, Rocker and I (that famous 60's beat combo) will be riding up together on Saturday 25th, over-nighting at the Premier Inn J44 M6. Then on Sunday, ride through Dumfries and Ayr up to Gourock, ferry to Dunoon and then the scenic route to arrive in Tyndrum ready for us Sunday roast dinner @Sprinter & @andypandy

If anybody else would like to meet up with us en-route let us know.

 

Hello Rich,I Will be either coming over from my irish rally on the sunday morning,so coming over from Stranraer or I will be coming up from Northampton in one hit on sunday,the prices of Scottish b & b's are double of the one's in Ireland so don't want to pay for another night and iv'e done that trip a few times easily in half a day,so i'll see you in tyndrum mate.

 

Ist iv'e got to get a job and get rid of my 3 month old [pos] Africa twin and get the bike I will be keeping,if I come up on my other bike I will be running out of petrol all round Scotland because if you ride it how it's meant to be ridden you can get it down to the high 20's,so by no means I am 100% that I can come yet,i really hope so as looking forward to it already.

 

So I will look forward to some rousing 60's rock'n'roll Sunday night performed by you lot. Just be careful strutting your stuff though(thinking Mick Jagger here), you don't want to go slipping any discs and miss the ride.
