2018 Triumph Speed Triple Rs Screen

Hi All

I just had 2018 Speed Triple RS 1050 delivered Friday and ran it in Saturday 519 miles.

Looking for a suitable screen for longer days but cannot find anything listed on the internet for 2018 bike with TFT screen.

Maybe I am just to early as its a recent model. If any of you have links or info on suitable screen i would be grateful.

I bought the Puig 8929 for my 2017 Speed Triple R, and it claims to fit yours as well. I'm not sure how the new TFT screen is mounted, but if you look at the mounting instructions here, you should be able to work out if it will fit. https://puig.tv/en/tuning-motos/win...eneration-sport?bike=21281&reference=&colour=

Dashboard housing on 2018 model is completely different and I cannot see this screen fitting.


Thanks for you input though just going to wait till some of the aftermarket manufacturers come up with something suitable.

 

I assume your not happy with the Triumph accessory?

I am not sure that's available in the US - what is the Triumph Part # for possible sourcing over the pond (for us USA guys)?

 

On the Triumph UK website this is listed under the Triumph configurator as a Flyscreen Visor Kit for £54 - note the picture makes it look like the visor is clear but its actually got a smoked appearance.

 

I have the little triumph visor on my 2016 speed striple .I don't think it does much .
Will the Puig screen make a difference .it does not look very tall in photographs. Anyone fitted one ? Your experience?

 

I’ve recently swapped the Triumph flyscreen visor for a powerbronze screen which is loads better!!

Just got back from France 550 miles over 2 days . should have fitted a screen before I went! Anyways .loved the bike .has anyone experience d both screens. Which offers the most protection .thanks

 

The puig screen I had didn’t fit! It was for a 2016 model, so I’m gonna get the small triumph one and see how I get on with that
