So yesterday Nikki called me and said her foot was much better and that she planned to leave today.
In the spur of a moment I decided to cheer her up a little and to celebrate her fast recuperation in the Schnitzelpalace with her!
Booked a room there and before we knew it, we sat on a nice table trying to order Schnitzel Welfenstube...
...and what do you know?
The Triumph forum ate all but one Goat Cheese they needed to serve this special dish!
Alas, there was no fight.
We had a great 2nd last meal and today Nikki went on her way home...

And guess who is going back there on Sunday ?
Yes, me. The wife liked the pictures so much and my description that she wanted to go there so I've booked the ferry for Friday and three nights at the Park Hotel in Bad Berty. Just need to find a hotel near Malmedy now. So it's schnitzel and beer again for me in a few days time. Actually I think it might have been my description of the coffee and CAKE shops in cochem that swung it.

You Yorkshire lasses must be made of tough stuff as when I saw your foot as we lifted the wasp off you I thought no riding for you young lady for a week or two

And I’m home. The Slightly battered Wasp is back in the garage. It took just slightly over 4 hours door to door with one fuel stop and a stop to rearrange the souvenir crutches which were trying fall off the back.
It was such a lovely surprise to spend another evening in Daniels company. He is such a love
The weather was awesome the whole way back mid 20’s and sunny.
