    Yes they will only if I have the insurance. As a Yorkshire tight arse I didn't arrange it. So I'm screwed.at least my health insurance will pay for the x-rays I had to have

    Ice your foot regularly, not direct on skin, make sure it’s wrapped in a cloth or with water in a bowl, and ibuprofen!!

    The hospital gave me some, even though I said I had some at home. It was just easier to say yes to anything

    Went to Batogne Museum today. Meet some french bloke on the walk up ....couldnt speek a word of English. I speek very little french but it was no use because he was big:confused:. :D

    Having been keeping an eye on this thread - 'cos I've never been to Germany and was curious - I couldn't help thinking how nice it was to see pictures of Nikki with a smile on her face after what she has been through recently.
    And now THIS!
    Someone once said to me "God's always got a custard pie up his sleeve". How feckin true!!

    Well it sounds like all peeps from Germany have made it home (apart from Nikki and us). We will make our final stage tomorrow, Folkestone to Cheshire. Nikki hope you can make your homeward trip soon with your bike.

    Yes very true Steve. I mean I like Germany and Bad Bertrich but I would like to get home at some point. If my foot is no better tomorrow I'll be arranging a rental car (but of course needs to be automatic.). This has taught me a valuable lesson, make sure you have adequate holiday insurance. And only go on holiday in the car.

    Cold drinks and ice cream was enjoyed by some, just cold drinks by others.
