Realise I am preaching to the converted but had first proper run on the Speedy tonight. Round the roads near Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside and Coniston. What a piece of kit! Quick, great handling, lovely noise and cracking views all round. Should prescribe rides like this on the NHS! Love the bike already!
Hi and welcome! You're in a gorgeous part of the world for that! I've been there a lot in the past - had in-laws in Winster.
Welcome to the forum! I've been in your area and can understand your ecstasy. The smile on your face can be seen all the way on the other side of the big pond.
I know exactly the feeling. I used to own a speed triple and used to hit the twisties a lot. I don't get roads like yours. After 15+ years on litre bikes now I own a street triple r and most of my ridings are in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire. Street triple is well suited for the type of riding I do but must admit ... I do miss the torque of the speed triple. Enjoy the bike and the lovely roads
Cheers all. Sometimes we ignore the good local stuff for distant promises. Will get some photos next ride and try to upload them
Fair point Abigail. Was with a really loyal mate who I have known most of my life and would and has done, anything to help a friend in need!
