Been in the garage talking to NUDGER
He is full of admiration for the way I’ve been looking after him :)heart:) and would like me to get back my title as LOUDEST member:imp:
So after much dialogue between the two of us we’ve come up with a plan to fit him with COCKTAIL SHAKERS
Now as some of you know wielding the spanner’s and light fabrication is not a problem for me and NUDGER trusts my judgment  so they will/can be fitted
Depending on wether it has a detrimental effect on NUDGERS performance
Keep reading in here about the latest Triumphs having intelligent ECU’s fitted that can adjust themselves when something like the exhaust has been changed?
I don’t mind getting a remap if I have to as one of the lads at Newcastle Triumph owes me a favour and I can get it free :grinning:
Don’t know nothing about all this remapping bollox or if I even need it
Myself and NUDGER would be very grateful if someone could point us in the right direction :p

    Try fitting the pipes.
    Then.....
Start the bike but DO NOT touch the throttle.
Run the bike for 10 minutes without touching the throttle (Temting to rev I know)
Bike ECU should aclimatise to the changes.

Worked on my 690 Duke when fitting a GPR pipe.
    ;)

Being Euro 4 compliant, Triumph won't have a map to remove the CAT.

Don't remap, just replace the gubbins with a box of tricks, that should sort it out

You cant do feck all, with the new Trump ECU's they are locked down. TuneECU will not work.
Specialists like Hilltop can get in and make changes in the spare memory of the ECU's eeprom, the map runs in parallel to Trumps.
Alternatively, you will need to get a piggyback device like a Power Commander to fool the ECU into making changes.
    All are expensive.
Cheapest option just change the pipes..... it will be fine and LOUDER

NO, TuneECU is not compatible with the new Trump ECU's. They are locked down.

Hopefully won't be long before "big Al" from tuneecu cracks the lockout for newer models...... fingers crossed anyway.

As said your ECU is locked down dont even try to plug into it to change owt,
it should be loud enough with the pipes without removing the cat,
Is it not early days still to go chopping into it, you did say previously that it wasn't easy to remove your pipes for quick change to cocktail shakers.
    give it some thought
