Triumph Moto2 Debut At Silverstone 2018

Hi guys,

I just read in MCN that Triumph will be doing a parade lap of their MOTO2 machine at Silverstone this weekend. Does anyone have any further info into this?

I would very much like to know when exactly will this lap take place? Friday? Saturday? Sunday? Before the race? Between Moto3 and Moto2?

It’s TRIUMPH so will probably stay in the pits while they try to sort it out and turn the EML off

Spoke to a Triumph representative at a function, they said the 765 Moto 2 lump is expect to make in excess of 160 BHP......

 

They fired one up at last years NEC show and it sounded awesome.

 

Despite the whole GP fiasco at least I got to take a closer look at the Moto2 Machine. Looks purposeful in full wets!

Luca Marini (Rossi’s bro) and Sam Lowes under the old Honda engine lap record in testing for next year at Jerez with the new Triumph engine. Lowes just 0.268 seconds behind Marini
Jake Dixon topped a rain session but dropped back to 28th.
