Yep, Wives, they all do that sir! We only went for a look (who does that?) now we got a raving loonie Cocker Spaniel that launches himself at me (usually scoring a direct hit to the plums!) when I come in the door, great though isn't it?
Go on, you know you can give her a great home life, and you also know what she will give you in return, get her out of those kennels and give her a family life!
Hmmmmm, my old grey is 12, 13 end of this month, we got Bonnie in Feb. this year, it gave Rebel a new lease of life, new interest and haven't seen him so happy for years, it brought our Blue back for a while too, although we lost her a couple of months back due to cancer, she died happy! We've had this happen a few times, new, young blood revitalizing the old'ens. As for Incpot & Bonnie, you cant separate them and he's 6! Rebel, 12 & Bonnie 6 months
This is Jedediah and Elijah, my two Patterdale terriers who I sadly lost last year due to cancer and a stroke, aged 13 and 17, I would love another dog but it broke my heart so much that I just couldn't go through having another dog.
They look like beautiful little characters David, I can understand your loss. The only thought I would offer is that they looked loved, and you could give your love to others and they would benefit from it. Ours are now 11 yrs old and of course it's only a matter time before they leave us, which will be very distressing. But we will get other dogs when they have gone on, because other dogs need loving and we need to give to them.
I agree, but I'm a bit too emotional when it comes to animals, I was so distraught when I had to say goodbye at the vets, I just cried my eyes out and made a right soft shit of myself in front of the queue of people in the waiting room, I couldn't go through it under any circumstances again mate, I do my best to help animal charities in other ways.
