I just always want the underdog to win. Hate it when previous winners, win again, wanted Croatia to get a the WC, that would have been a bit of history and awesome for a wee country like Croatia. Even if I didn't have them in the sweepstake at work, would still have wanted them to get it. It get boring with the same team or person constantally winning, I even want someone to beat Johnny Rea now, even tho' I think he is the best rider we have produced in a long time. Or Celtic always winning SPL, it loses that bit on interest. That was why it was good when Germany, Spain, Argentina all went out. Sadly not to be.
Too much bent money and betting in football. The ref today gifted France their first two goals by awarding a free kick from a blatant dive and a penalty from an accidental hand ball. It totally changed the mood and complexion of the game. VAR is not the problem, it is crap or worse officiating.
Sadly you are right. I honestly believed, it would stop the cheating. But it has actually made the situation worse.
Was rooting for Croatia they were by far the better team in the first half you have to admire their never say die attitude,Scotland and the rest of the UK could learn a thing or two from them, France upped a gear in the 2nd half so congratulations to them for winning
You guys ought to be over here now, to see how to party !!!! Even in my little village there are cars and bikes full of youngsters drive round showing their flags and honking their horns. In Paris the Champs Elysées is packed with 500,000 people and flags !! These guys know how to parrrrrrrty !
