Hello all, I really need some help.

I have recently changed my front reservoir on my ‘08 Speedy and noticed that my hose from the reservoir to the master cylinder had a tiny rip in it. I need a new one (it’s a U shape that has been pre-set into that shape) and I can’t find one to buy anywhere. I can just buy some 8mm ID hose but they kink easily and that’s no good.

I also don’t want to buy the Assembly (ie reservoir included) as I already have 2! And it’s about £60!! Lol

    Any help would be great

    Thanks in advance

    Nick

Just thinking out loud, but would a local motor factor be able to supply a suitable piece of hose?

    Steve,

    Thanks for your reply.
I have been to a fair few in my area. They have the size I need (8mm ID) but they are all straight

When you bend them they kink and this wouldn’t be good would it? It’s only low pressure. Would a kink be a major issue do you think?

    Cheers

    Nick

I wouldn’t fit one like that, brakes are a safety critical item that shouldn’t be compromised. Have a look at world of triumph, use your last 6 digits from your vin to select your bike and Robert is your mother’s brother.

PFKL2061398 this is the one for my bike, £18.77. Tah dah!

    Thanks for the messsage.

You can’t get mine as an individual item unfortunately.

Just out of interest what shape is yours? Is it U Shaped? How long is it please? If it’s similar I may purchase one and see if it fits?

Don’t suppose you could take a picture for me could you? Lol

    Cheers

The bend is approximately 90degrees and it’s 70mm long. Bike is a 2015.
