Yep, no way, the top of the bags for some reason are designed to be the furthest point forward. To me they look like they are hung back to front. The bend of the pillion leg would not get past the top of the saddlebag for foot to be on pegs. The T120 was worse the bags literally were over the top of the pegs completely. Also they are so small in width, would hold next to nothing.
Good write up Dilli, just about sums up the speedmaster. Only other comment for me would be the pegs ground clearance is not brilliant, but you get to know quickly when they will touch down..... Wesaa
Bloody hell Dilli, I go away for a little hoilibob and you go from test ride to bought it, was expecting another portaloo type post where there was a big build up then left out to dry, but respect you only gone and done it, pleased for you mate, nothing quite like that new bike feeling!
Can pick it up anytime tomorrow But coming to work on my BPOS to do the swap....think I’ll wait until I finish at 3.30 and go round then otherwise it’ll drive me nuts having it there and waiting to clock out
Especially as you might get inebriated at the GMU and disturbances may occur in memory and navigation cell's in the frontal lobes of your helmet contents.
Enjoy the new bike Dilligaf , I just got a new job starting Monday ! Been unemployed for 3 months , so finances bit screwed @ present so no chance of replacing or upgrades on my 09 America for a while myet, so give us a good test ride analysis on what's not so good , what's not so bad and especially what's impressive with the new model !! Cheers capt .
Will do mate Gonna be a bit busy this weekend so I’ll not get out on it much if at all At work for 3 days then the GMU in Welsh Wales Planning on doing the ride outs this year so hopefully 4days riding under my belt and should have a good idea what it’s like then Have to say though I was really impressed with the test ride so much so I cancelled a test ride on the T120 and did the deal when I got back Good luck with your new job
