Just a little update, Ive had the Shuberth S2 for a couple of months now. I dont like it. Im tired of the noise. Fit is great, hardly any bufferting, sun visor, light weight. Dont like it. I realised Im making excuses to use the old Roof. I dont have to have ear plugs with the roof, but I have to with the S2. Starting to wish I had looked more at those Nexx that I like....
I really like the look of the Nexx and it has some awesome write-ups! Only problem is that there don't seem to be any retail stockists so no way to try on before you buy. I have spoken with the importers at Nexx Helmets UK & Worldwide Shipping and they are really helpful - said that if I bought one and was not happy with the fit could return it for a full refund. Still thinking about it
Hi all I fancied another helmet, so I bought a Arai Chaser V Nation. Now I'm a long oval head shape so I got a large being I'm 59.5cm and my god the helmet was so small. Couldn't wear it at all, just the wrong shape inside but it felt really small!! It had to go back but it was a cracking helmet! I wear a Shark Speed R and that Arai was tiny. Do Arai helmets come up small and do people go the next size up or was it just the wrong shape helmet for me? I will be trying a Arai Quantum ST this week so hopefully a good fit!
Martin I always think you are either a Arai or a Shoei (you cannot be both) and yes you have most probably have the non Arai head :wink: I have a Shoei XR1000 and a Shoei GT Air (with the internal sun visor) The XR is getting a bit rough around the edges and showing it's age but is still a great helmet. The GT Air I brought a couple of months ago and it is brilliant apart from lacking ventilation in hot weather. Might be worth trying one of these as well as the Arai and there is still some good deals around on the XR1100 now that they have been superseded by the NXR. Hope this is of some help Steve
Shoei Gt and NRX still didn't fit! Arai Quantum St was just the job but didn't have the right graphic for me! I'm such a sucker for a looker!! Call me shallow but it was near on perfict fit!! Did try a AGV K3 with sun visor just for the sake of it! Wasn't on long. You really do get what you pay for me thinks.
Ok sounds good. I take you know what size you need so I would suggest that you look online and see if you can find a better deal for the graphics you want. Cheers Steve :upyeah:
