    Started the weekend early yesterday with a 200 mile ride out. On our way back stopped off at Glen Docherty Viewpoint. A great ride and another fantastic day of weather here in the Highlands!

    Know that viewpoint well. Even if heading north I've known us turn right at Kinlochewe and run up for a wee photo. Nice wee cafe round from the petrol station.

    Nice one Graeme:), you have to take advantage when we have this weather:cool::cool: they have had to put sand down on some of our roads as they have been melting!:eek:

    I can't remember a summer as good as this..it makes you greedy and you want 30 degrees all the time! I love it:)

    You should pop into the Aultbea Hotel and look at the photos on the wall. Loch Ewe was a major convoy forming up point in WWII. The concrete block at 4 o’clock in the photo is a mooring point for a NATO refuelling facility.

    I went up there some years ago to see Inverewe gardens. We had similar weather. Great roads!
