me and a mate had a run down to visit the Steve Hislop Statue in Hawick today, absolutely glorious day
Steve was one of Scotlands most successful Circuit and road racer, having won the British Superbike Championship twice and the TT 11 times.the Statue is in Wilton lodge park and there is a room in the museum dedicated to Hizzy with some of his racing bikes, cups and other memorabilia

After reading the above post I had a ride up to Hawick today to see the Hizzy and Jimmie Guthrey displays, well worth the 102 mile ride.
