Tiger 800 Silencer Recommendations

Beowulf products always seem to look nice and appear to be decent quality, but I've never had cause to use any of them.
I thought they were based in Halifax, but seem to be in Rotherham these days. Or maybe I'm getting confused. If they are in Rotherham then they are very handy for you, Scotkat.

 

@steve lovatt has a Leo Vince on his that sounds ok and didn’t need a remap or anything. I’ve an arrows on mine, picked up cheap on internet, they said you don’t need to remap but I did for a bit smoother pick up. You can get it done at a dealer for around £25 or free if you know them well. The noise picks up nicely not too obtrusive. If you want louder you can remove the baffle, defo look on eBay or equivalent once you know what you want

 

Really pleased with the Leo Vince pipe - you could also look at FUEL Exhausts, which also seem good value.
I keep the baffle in although I have shortened it by 2" to improve the sound. The bike has run fine with no issues without a remap and fuel consumption has not really been affected.
The pipe is lighter than stock, smaller and much better looking. Interestingly the new Tigers have either Arrow or smaller exhausts fitted as standard now.

It has not yet melted my number-plate, which I have heard can occur with some aftermarket pipes.

I've just got the arrow slip on for my 2017 tiger 800, cos triumph are selling them very cheap.

I'd like to get it on soon, I will get the remap but are there any issues if I don't get it done straight away?

I ran my 2012 with an arrows can without a remap for a while then tried with a map, with the map, it stopped popppng on the over run and was a bit smoother, I do believe the newer tigers readjust after a little while

 

Thanks - as I say I'll get the remap done for warrantys sake I just don't want to be conked out on the A1 on the way to webbs!
PS I'm quite partial to bit a bit of overrun pop
