Yes andypandy, Penicuik is nicely placed to get out onto the good roads around the Borders and i'm only 2 hours from Tyndrum where the real fun begins.

    :eek:Gobsmacked:eek:
Was given this about 3-4yrs ago by someone at work :)
Stumbled upon it in my shithole of a garage and thought why not :p
My BPOS is absolutely caked in dried on Wee Beasties from the Scotland trip :(
So I sprayed the whole bike with it and went and made myself a coffee :) 310D653D-2294-41C9-A2DE-C63351FBF698.jpeg When I came back most of them were lying on the lift/bench having just fell off
Damp cloth to wipe the bike over and can’t believe they’re all gone :grinning:
Scooped them up off the bench and probably enough to make a wee beastie burger :yum
    Well impressed

Just back from my first trip to Loomies, great ride there and back and bumped into Bad Billy (who recognised my bike) and his mate Dave, sound blokes and nice to put faces to names.

Been in the garage today and after removing all the wee Scottish beasties (see above) decided to carry on and convert my BPOS ready for the farmyard rally
So off came the stylish top box and mounting and on went the sexy tow bar
Then the sissy bar back rest and pillion seat was stuck on ready for fat Frank o_O cos he’s getting a lift from me to the rally
Cleaned and lubed the chain:) and adjusted the pre-load ready for fatty fatty faggoty Frank :kissing_heart:
Glad he doesn’t come on here :p

Yes it was good to meet you Dave, we had already been to Whiteways Cafe north of Arundel, saw your post on Loomies thread so thought I'd pop in and say hello on the way back home. Did you manage to find the better way back which avoids Winchester?

Set to the totally seized rear brakes on the Daytona 1000. Half a a can of wd40 a couple of cuppas & I could at least move the bolts. Some complete TiT must have used a massive bar to tighten it all up. Pistons were sound as I was expecting corrosion but nowt. The slider part though is still seized on so more wd40 & Tea lol. Life gonna get in the way again so hope to sort this at the weekend.:)
