With all my whinging the other week, my day finally arrived and the bike was ready to be collected. The day wasn't without drama though and the dash was not working before I arrived so Destination Triumph loaned me a bike while they fiximabobbed it. With a day lost I was a little miffed, but still bloody glad to have collected the bike finally. It was time to get it run in. I will be running a series of videos of my run in as well as various adventures on the bike, if of interest they will be found at the end of this link on the tube of ewes when I post them: https://www.youtube.com/c/HippoDrones Anyhowzles, here is my Dame Edna on steroids: They very kindly fitted the Yoshi for me, which I'd not asked them to do, which is kinda cool, although I had wanted to fit it myself once the bike was run in, still... never knock a gift horse!
There's nothing quite like the new bike feeling, this time last year was running mine in (tedious ) but worth it. The 765 is a cracking bike as your gonna find out ... enjoy!
I've been vlogging the run in process, I am utterly loving it so far! This was my thoughts during the first 300 miles of running in at sub 5k rpm. What run in did you guys do? by the book or an alternative way?
I stupidly deleted the 3rd stage of the running in process off my PC before getting it uploaded to YouTube so have jumped to the 4th and final running in vid giving me up to 8000 rpm until I hit 1000 miles. I bloomin love this fantastic little bike!
