Thought I'd add these up here, bought this from Shaun at sjs motorcycles in salisbury (great guy and couldn't recommend him enough). It's my wife's 2007 gsf 650 bandit and the thing is spotless. We've added a puig front screen and rentec box frame with a biketek box, here's hoping she passes her test this Friday so she can get out on it
Cheers, it's a credit to the previous owner who has clearly looked after it, I wish pics would show up just how nice the colour truly is, I've clay barred and waxed it to death in preparation for her first adventure out on the roads.
Nice !! I love Bandits, got a mk1 1200 in the garage at the mo...I think its Bandit number 5 if I remember rightly  Never had a 600, or one of the new K series though.
I'm a big fan of bandits too, I think the way that they have been modded into anything from customs to street fighters is amazing. This thing is so smooth too, it's a quick bike and before you know it you are reaching triple figures. It has been lowered for my mrs as it is still a heavy bike so it's good to know she can get both feet on the ground lol
Fair one mate, bet she's a beast!! Must have a nice sound to it too as I think this 650 sounds lovely.
In the grand scheme of things, my old Bandit is a dinosaur. I have a dyno chart showing 123bhp at the wheel, which for a Bandit is respectable, but compare that to my old gsxr1000k4, which had a lot more than that, and you get the picture... In contrast, my Bonnie has half the power of my B12, but its great. I didn't buy it to go quick. I never thought I'd see the day I must be getting old :frown:
Does look in great condition and best of luck to your wife for Friday. The Bandit is quite heavy but they are great dependable bikes and good value for money. I was amazed how quick my old 600 Bandit felt, it was my first bike after a long lay off (kids, work and no money!!). A year later I bought the very last 1200 air -oil cooled Bandit, it was the new frame but with the old engine and very quick and wheelie happy lol. 2008 Lake District heading to Hardknott Pass....... I must be the only one to make a 1200 Bandit look small.
lol is that a bandit 120??? I have never ridden one but a guy I know has had his for eons and loves it. He does have a 1967 Bonnie too tho,lol
Hardknott pass, what a fantastic place to be, its a few years since I went over there, I think I was on a Honda CBX750 the last time I went there.
I've probably more chance of getting a 3some with her and another hot chick lmao Only time I drive anything of hers is when it's broken and I have to fix it lmao
Well managed to get out on the wife's bike today and gotta say I quite like it, everything is really smooth and easy, it's a heavy bike though and you notice this going into tight corners lol She seems to be loving it too so can't really ask for more
