A week old...somehow managed to get 350 miles on it despite no Spring yet in Virginia. I put a tail rack on it along with the tank bag. Fly screen is next. I think I would have preferred the multi-colored tank, but it was hard to argue with the super price I got (2017 clearance). I still think it's a great looking bike no matter what the trim! .
Welcome from another new member. Brit twins were the first bikes I owned back in the '60's and I still love them. You will find great information and good laughs on this forum. Make sure you look at this thread on the forum - https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/blue-ridge-british-bike-rally.13296/#post-180951
Welcome from a close neighbor! Good looking bike, just waiting for the madness to begin. Do check out the link for the bike rally you were given in a previous post, should be good fun.
Welcome from Calif. Great looking bike. You mentioned a fly screen next. Just a suggestion. You might want to look into a larger screen. I have a new Street Twin and purchased the larger touring screen. It's not that big but does a great job at overall wind protection. A fly screen won't protect much at all. Anyway- Enjoy your ride !!
I got what they call a "longhaul" flyscreen (Isn't that like a jumbo shrimp?). Looks a bit bigger than the regular flyscreen, but not by much. Should be interesting... BTW, I took a friend's street twin out for a spin a couple of days ago. Super easy to ride and the stock exhausts are great!
I've got a Triumph fly screen I'm not using and a clear bigger screen I replaced with a tinted one. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested. - Steve
I have the orange and cream bonnie ,ihave put a big screen on,makes hugh difference at speed on main roads. Before I was getting battered by wind.
Hi Dave brilliant right there! Waiting for mine, bought a 2017 with 1400km's on the clock, all black Dilli !
