My BPOS has just passed its MOT Forgot how loud the TORS are so might just leave them on for a while Maybe start prepping the PORTALOO for paint this afternoon
Went out to Loomies and then The Haven and Apache Cafe, all to help Tony R. run his RS in. I took the Bonnie to give him a chance to keep up
Seems the weather has been good to a lot of us this weekend. Took the longest ride on the SC so far, 240 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. The Green Knob Overlook pic is for those of us that appreciate highbrow humor.
Oh well taking the wife over too the crazy horse bury st Edmund's for a ride out then later Mildenhall speedway. Tucker
I had one years ago.The guy had this and a CB750 for sale and I saw the CB first and fancied it.When I went to see it I was all about the GS, funny that.
Manaaged 110 miles out today with a couple of mates including the R1M pictured alongside my RS at Loomies. Forecast said rain from 10 but it didn’t arrive until 1 .... result!
Did 75miles with my lad as pillion (14y) the last 15 miles was wet... enjoyable ride though and it took the legend over the 9000 mile mark. Then took another hour washing the bike... what’s the secret to the little black spots on the chrome exhaust then!!!
Hi all, went to York motor cycle festival yesterday. There was a public Dynamo metre set up , charging $50:00 per run ! I watched several bike's being test run. Early 2000 HD Road King 75 HP ! , mid 2000 BMW GS 1150 104 HP , brand new Triumph 765 112 HP , a KTM unknown model 140+ HP wheel spin was quite evident !! To name a few. My 2008/9 Bonneville America puts out 55 HP !
Picked up the speedmaster today; I'm loving it. Took the long way home, put the first 65 miles on the clock. The back pack by the rear wheel was a present from Triumph, should be perfect for short trips out. 500 mile service booked for the 30th April, so now need to get going....... Wessa
You telling me they got you to buy that portaloo trailer with no freebies to sweeten the deal????? And now you got rucksack envy
