I haven't used Shift Assist yet but, from what was explained to me yesterday, it has to be set to Enabled when calibrating the SA and left on after that I think.

I'll probably reposition the optimate when I've got the tank popped up as well.
When I was fitting it earlier, I had a call from Datatool. "Your battery's been disconnected, is the bike OK?"
Good to know the Tracker works....

Does the Enable/Disable option appear on your menu though?

    Getting twitchy now.
Luckily, I'm off work currently, so a trip down to Poole Quay or somewhere similar is on the cards for tomorrow to get the miles racking up :)

I have the SA fitted but it's not on the menu and I don't think it's been updated properly. I've not tried it out yet, but suspect it won't work.

I think they had to download some software, then calibrate it.
    Maybe the software wasn't downloaded.
I'll go and check mine again to make sure it's still there, as I saw it before they calibrated it.

Had a quick look, it's definitely still there under bike setup

My dealer tells me that they did the software update and that it would automatically enable the 'TSA' (which I think was fitted after the update). I also emailed Triumph, and they said:

"The TSA can be enabled and disabled through the instruments using the LH switchcube. The details are listed in the owners handbook. The dealer has to update the software and calibrate the electronics for the TSA to work in addition to the physical fitting of the hardware. This can only be done through the dealer diagnostic tool."

It does sound like something was supposed to be done after fitting.

No worries - send me back to my own bike thread...and get on with enjoying yours :p

And they are a feckin' pain to store when there's one for every Speedie, 'master and Tiger .... and no doubt the Bobber Black too. But nice to have.

Great bike. Love the mods. Enjoy the ride mate.

Well got a spare hour this afternoon!
RS tested, she’s a beauty, handles like a dream, I rode a 765rs last year,
Feels exactly the same but with more power and torque, really is that flickable, sounds lovely without being obnoxious

I collected my ruck sack on Saturday, even used it on a work trip Sunday. Got 83 miles done on the RS in some nice spring weather, then took it out in the tipping rain for more miles Sunday....it got a tad dirty. Still, all clean now and with 173 miles showing. It's even feels great to ride in the rain.
