Removed my o2 sensors and replaced with resisters as I do on all my bikes, also fitted a K&N with bellmouth. Went for a ride and was snatching, pulling back and missing at constant speeds, 40, 50 etc. Thought it may be too much air due to the filter. Had Triumph short tors fitted sat and maps checked as thought this might sort it, No different. Decided to start again and reconnected the o2 sensors, went for a ride Easter Sunday and was a night and day difference. Bike was smooth and pulled well in all gears, No missing or snatching, perfect. The o2 sensors seem fo have a big effect on this engine.
You will probably need a different map, the Triumph one is only for a pipe change, either go to Triumph twin Power or tune ecu
I have looked at that, I was surprised though as I used the resister kit you get when you disconnect the co2, this has always worked on other bikes bit not on the triumph
Have you always changed the intake? You’re changing the air/fuel mixture. Then there’s the AI, you could try disabling that temporarily by blocking the pipe coming out of the airbox with a marble or tape
I know I changed the mixture but I was surprised that disconne ting the sensors would have such an edge t, as soon as I reconnected them the bike was perfect, maybe I need to remove the sensors and AI together although now it's too its running great not sure of i want to or need to
Welcome to the Asylum you should fit right in. We will need photos too keep the inmates happy. Hope it's black Tucker
