if you are planning on doing the NC500 (Inverness back to Inverness) i would recommend not rushing it and to take about 4 days doing it..and do it clockwise:cool:

Welcome Gianfranco, nice photos. Brings back fond memories touring Tuscany, only problem is your country is sometimes too hot for us Brits. Was 40°C when we was there, and of course in full bike gear, so was a little uncomfortable.:sweat::)
Don't forget we need photos when the bike is back together.

I can truly understand what u mean... It's the same for us... Here in summer you suffer a lot the heat, some friends in summer they stop the insurance for a couple of months... On the other hand we have amazing days in winter to ride... Hope to post the bike completed as soon as possible

It's the entrance to Clunie Dam power station at loch Tummel, you pass it when you are on that road you were talking about ,the one that runs parallel to the B8019 Queens view rd.

Worked at Clunie Power station a few times over the years, my grandfather & father both worked there for over 30 years each
My dad still stays at Clunie Dam 2.5 miles upriver from here :p

Can barely see her among all the daffodils! A 2 hour ride around Hadrians Wall followed by an hour cleaning and washing the salt off. Still, it was worth it

Run up to Montrose then up to Edzell and headed up the Cairn o mount and had the best Sausage on a roll I've had in a long time at "The Clatterin Brig" then up to Banchory and home by the brilliant A93.
