Can’t see me doing much else to my BPOS @capt Gonna use it as much as possible this year and then will probably sell it to help with my move to Spain if I can pull it off
Beat crispy to Loomies by 2 minutes - could hear those Predator exhausts coming down the road with earplugs and helmet on. As regular customers, we were asked to model their new range of casual clothing...
2 sides to this - My 03 250 Enduro , 4 stroke, starts every time on the button, can be sat for months over the summer. Quality of engineering is brilliant, attention to detail of even the smallest part is great. Changing the 2 oil filters is more akin to changing batteries in a watch than doing an oil change, beautifully machined and manufactured parts. My mates 1290 Super Duke thing - cams worn through less than a year old, stripped engine down and it was totally knackered !!! He flogged it soon after getting all the work done on warranty. Stupidly bought a BMW
I had the older Super Duke 990, got it from new and had it nearly 5 years, didn't do massive miles (16K) but never had a single problem. A couple of mates have KTM's one of which is the 1290 which is just coming up 3 years old & no problems, maybe your mate got a Friday pm bike!
You had an adventure in 1190 eh ? Was that on one of them crusade things then ? Were you a knight or a valet Dave ?
I had to read this a few times to make any kind of sense it Andy. I must admit that I had more adventures during the Pubic Wars, between 1970 - 1980.
I once parked my Dad's Ford Corsair IN a furniture shop (via a very large plate glass window) right onto the showroom floor - does that count ?
Did you watch that program the other week about the crusades then Steve or did you look that up ? Or maybe you're a history buff ?
Go along with you there Brian, retirement sure is great. That’s until some spoil sports on here use that word ‘work’
