Is it just me, or does anyone else have a problem with the stock horn on our bikes? I have a replacement ordered and should arrive today. This is one of the first things that went on my replacement list. My horn is almost loud enough for me to hear. This is not the first time I have to make this upgrade. I'm glad that a more than suitable replacement can be had for little money. Is this just my problem, or does anybody else wish to be heard when you use the little button on the handlebar?

And yes, I am hard of hearing. Too many years of my Les Paul/marshall amp!

I haven't heard of much of anyone that likes the stock horns. Doesn't seem to be only a Triumph issue. Replaced mine quickly with a Denali Bomb clone and it wakes up the dead.

Back in 2013 my 1050ST got this advisory on the MOT:
    • horn slightly feeble
I have now replaced it with a less feeble horn :)

I was able to do mine...
The wiring loom helps, it includes a relay and you need to find space for that.

The horn on the split comes as two main pieces(clearly) the horn itself is large and may not fit to the current horn location, the compressor too needs a place to live (preferably near as vertical as possible)

There are various videos on YouTube showing it being installed on various bikes

They are very much worth it and are a life saver, when on the motorway at 70mph+ in the rain next to the git with their stero on loud or on the phone...this thing will be heard...

The stock horn drove me crazy both because of sound and location. So I changed horn sound and relocated it slightly and still never use it.

The stock horn on my 2012 T'Bird was just fine, plenty load.
The "relacement horn" that came with the front dresser bars is a piece of crap, a little VW beep beep,
I am looking to make a bracket that lets me relocate the stock horn.

With all this swapping/replacing horns going on, this looks like the right place to ask this question.

Does anyone happen to have a pic of the connectors for the original horn for a Sprint?
