I know I have the 955i project on the go but I can't wait to get the 675 out this year. Swapped it for a 13 Street Triple 675 R last autumn so not had much time to ride it yet.
Nice looking bike there mate....can't wait until the sky looks like that and the bike can be rolled out of the shed, yes, I am a relatively fair weather rider, it's for fun so why not, lol.
Great photos great looking bike I would own one in a second only as Pete said my body would reject it.
Cheers guys. I love the bike and even after the seriously impressive Street Triple R I was just missing being on a sportsbike. I've been a litre bike rider for over 20 years but this thing is immense and really surprises me. Okay it's not built to do 180mph but then neither am I these days.
Lovely looking Daytona buddy I am in the same boat as you. Almost 20 years on litre bikes. Last December I decided that litre bikes are not for me due to my bad back and jumped on a 2014 Street Triple R. On my litre bike I used to be a lazy rider (you know power on the tap n all). Now on the Street Triple I find my ride more involving and rewarding. For the sort of country side blast I do......she performs and handles absolutely gorgeous. Every now and then, I do miss the sports bike but I am not comfortable on them anymore . All my mates are on litre bikes but I never got left behind in the twisties, infact I torment them in the twisties with my Street Triple R . But on long straights they pull on me real hard leaving me behind but then I am on their arse through the bends. Besides I am not a straight line....full throttle person. I enjoy working the gear box and working through the twisties . All in all I am thoroughly pleased with the Street Triple R. Few more weeks and we shall all do what we love.....RIDE RIDE RIDE
Been out this week as Tuesday was gorgeous in South Wales. Only 50-60 miles but thoroughly enjoyed myself.
You're not wrong. Sadly it's going over the next few months. Been seduced by the mental MT10! No rush but someone will bag a very sweet Daytona 675. Been offered £5K in PX so I may leave it go in standard form or I may leave it as is then I will be looking for around £5400 private with all the goodies. Healtech QS, GB racing covers, CNC levers, Arrow, carbon rear hugger and carbon Zorst cover but will be removing the Constands lift kit for the next bike. Sure I've forgotten something.
Exuptoy. Now you have my juices tingling. My favourite touring bike by far. I have had five in all going right back to 99. I wish I was not as sensible now as a few years ago. I sold my 1050 and went back to Bonnie's as I always seemed to glance around pretty girl nice bike interesting scenery whatever and the pillock in front of me would apply his brakes and wow there I would be trying to say as many prayers as I could in a split second. And some young lad on a fizzy would pull up beside you and sit there blipping his throttle. And I don't care how careful or how good or well behaved you are you are going to stick that front wheel up in the air and let then smell your rubber. I don't know why Triumph ended this model as in my humble opinion it was the best tourer ever and had attitude. Good luck with the sale if you need it which I dough you will. Ride Free Joe.
