Private messages - are folks getting notifications?

It could just be that no-one likes me (in fact that's probably the reason) but I've sent a few PMs recently and haven't received any response.

Are people being notified of messages?

Interesting, no notification and I only checked my messages as I knew you'd sent one.

At least that's probably why the messages I've sent haven't been responded to.

Yes got a notification well two actually, one for the like and one for the private message.

 

Aha! I've been looking at "my profile" but the notification flags are in "settings". D'Oh!

Maybe that's the default and so others aren't receiving notifications.
