On our second dog sit of the year for the next few days. Looking after these three lovelies - all rescue dogs. This is Sid This is Pixie This is Nellie (currently asleep with head on my lap). Clearly my favourite! Only 5 miles from where we live this time so a bit unusual for us but at least we now know what it's like to live in a £1.2 million terraced house!
Nah ..... Winchester's been there for quite a while. I used to deliver glass there up to 5 and a bit years ago. And I only ever saw one floor although it did slope down a bit in places.
Here's one of mine - Sparky. I think it is interesting that many bikers are also dog people. Loyalty, bravery.
We lost our blue (grey) greyhound Blue this morning after a visit to the vets to a stomach tumor. Had a rough week or so with her, so not entirely un-expected but it still hits hard though. We knew she was getting old and not too long to go that's why we got Bonnie, but didn't expect it that sudden. She got to 11 1/2, not too bad for a greyhound, and was a good family dog. RIP Blue.
Hello mate, very sorry to hear about Blue, but as Bikerman said you gave her the very best life you could and when the end she would know she had been loved.

Mickey and Archie are enjoying the snow parts of the track were too deep so ended up walking in the fields at times,,my 45 minute morning walk took me almost 2 hours today..
Too much ice under foot to take the greys out today, plus the wind is absolutely bitter & too strong for them even with coats on, so safer for them to miss a day or 2, Bonnie still plows through even with her short legs, she was even out in the snow on the croft at 7 weeks so she's into it big time! Croft dog, better built than these town dogs! Most of the snow has now gone off the side roads, main roads clear, nothing like the central belt, lucky us!
I don't really have much time for cats these days cos of all the indigenous wildlife the feckers slaughter, but this was mine, Andy Pandy, from the 50s. And bless him, this weather reminds me how Andy used to sleep under the bed covers and keep my feet toastie warm feet during cold Winter nights in the days before central heating. No sense of smell that cat.
