Moto GP is moving to BT sport next year, they have the exclusive rights apparently. Bugger, there's another £20 sports subscription.
The broadband is about 1.5meg at home so its not quick enough to stream live TV. I cant get any premium broadband packages so I doubt BT will even give me the deal.
Don't worry about that guys. Always available on the internet if you know where to look I'll get em uploaded and send you some links should all else fail. Oh and I have the whole of this years races saved on my computer!
I'm lucky enough to have virgin cable and I get BT Sport for free! Good to see that they've retained the services of Julian Ryder from Eurosport and managed to avoid recruiting either of the BBC idiots. I'm looking forward to the new season.
I'm a SKY customer and won't be getting Moto Gp ! The phone no to upgrade is BT sport and another £15 connection and another £15 a month on top of what I already pay for SKY ! Rang SKY and there is nowt they can do, and they showed their displeasure at BT. Hopefully when the ratings drop then they will have to relent and stream it delayed live like Eurosport did after thousands of complaints last time. Dorna what you playing at ! Moto gp is not that exciting as it once was, a procession of 4 riders and a load of also rans running mid field, where you don't get to really see the battles.
Looks like I'll be watching/recording ITV4. At least eurosport have got WSB & BSB more exciting than MGP.
Just finished watching the entire MotoGP live show. All in all, I think it was a very good show. It was better than Eurosport last year because they had pit lane interviews and a grid walkabout and better than the BBC last year because they didn't have those annoying prats as commentators! Having said that, I think Keith Huewen needs to calm down a bit and he and Julian rider need to learn to stop talking over each other, but that will come with practice, I'm sure. I also think that Neil Hodgson should learn to let the people he's interviewing answer the questions he's asked, rather than him answering them himself. But, again, that will come with practice. Oh, and in case anyone thought MotoGP was becoming boring. I won't spoil it, just watch and see. Today was a classic!
Thought it was a good show to be fair; it is obvious that this is a new team and they will get better over the next few races but I really found Melanie Sykes's voice began to grate on me.
Is there a catch to downloading the software? I'm very wary of spyware etc... Looking forward to watching highlights tomorrow on ITV4
I thought her voice was OK. She fluffed her lines a couple of times due to her, self confessed, ignorance of the sport but I'm sure that will improve. Either way, she's only a minor part of the show and doesn't interfere with the main commentary.
I didn't download or update anything, just played and clicked boxes to disappear then watched the race.
Did you see the lap by Neal hodgson? He wheelied the full length of the straight and put the front wheel down at 170, my claim to fame is I was behind him at donington on a track day when he was backing it in at the Melbourne loop, I slid underneath him and pushed him wide on the exit, had my knee and boot on the deck, he was shaking his head especially as I was on a 97 gsxr750 in rizla colours worth a grand. He's a fit lad and was as fresh as a daisy all day whilst I was laying down in between sessions
