Feckin' how much???!!!
I know it's over 5 years since I indulged myself in a 'full English' at a decent truckstop or roadside cafe/caravan but those prices really make my eyes water. Is that the joke menu with the real one hidden underneath it? Really must check out the local truckstops.
Those prices really are extracting industrial quantities of wee wee.
Or have I been off the road for too long? (Answers on the back of a bacon and egg butty please!).

 

Normally only tea for me and the occasional sausage bap! It's the place to see bikes and meet other bikers but there are better places to eat.

 

I know I'll get ribbed for this but on Wednesdays I play golf near Romford, Essex with a few guys. Sausage sandwich & a cuppa for a £1 before the game. Not bad for London prices

Nowt wrong wi muesli. Just mix it with sausage meat and crumbled black pudding, shape into a ball, wrap with several rashers of bacon, deep fry, then eat like you would a scotch egg, dipping it in your fried egg yolk.

 

I haven't heard of Departure Lounge? Where is it in relation to Loomies?

 

Alton way on the road to Basingstoke on the a339 which can be a really nice road to ride if not taken up by some monstrosity of a failed transformer

 

Just follow the A32 north towards Alton, when you reach the roundabout junction with the A31, take the second exit (straight across) and follow the narrow road round past the Alton Sports Centre - you avoid the often busy double roundabout set up by the railway bridge and come out further up the A339. Just keep going out of Alton and past the turning for Beech on your left and the Departure Lounge is just round the corner.

 

OK cheers, it must be by the garden centre? will maybe give it a look, I love the A339 shame they lowered the speed limit on big sections from the National to 50mph, it is another road that gets a lot of Police attention though
