Enjoy your new Pup! Will give the other two a new lease of life. Here we go again on the pup training rollercoaster, but they are 100% worth it.
They had a litter of three, 2 brown/white and 1 black and white, the b/w went leaving me with a choice between the 2 brn/whts. Sorted out all the chipping/jags this afternoon, jeez, its not a cheap hobby now, is it. Then in a few months she will be spayed, no plans to breed from her, there's enough dogs in the world already, although at the possibility of 2 grand a litter I can see why people do though! The dog in my avatar is H.O. AKA Gino, he's the 2nd youngest of the greys, but the laziest dog you could come across, only 8 but not into playing, walking too far or exercise, so I can see him telling Bonnie to p*ss off, but Incpot will be well pleased to see her, especially as Gino wont play with him! I went right through Gumtree's dogs listings but still came back to a Border, seems them and Greys are our favoured, certainly have the most experience with them.
Just realized her name fits this forum exactly although it wasn't intended, I was willing to home 2 retired greys a few months back which were going to be BONNIE & CLYDE but they were homed down south so the disc's I had made are still here! Name suits her anyway I think!
Bonnie is a real beauty. Sorry to hear about your Greyhound, what you describe is exactly what happened to ours last year, he was going great and then over about 3 months just went old very quickly. He gave us almost 14 fantastic years after rescuing him, and I would have another Grey at the drop of a hat, but we are both still a bit raw at the moment, but I have caught my wife on a few rescue sites recently, so who knows Enjoy your new pup, it is a great time and the start of something special.
He’s offline at the moment because he’s ordering a top box Won’t admit it though and we’ll never get to see it
SHE'S HOME!! Went up today and brought her home. Traveled well, asleep most of the time, settled in well, getting on with the 4 Grey's had her first ever Bonio tonight! Passed Tyndrum still a few bikes parked up, and still some snow at the side of the roads round that area, mostly clear all along Loch Lomond. Now for a quiet night, I think not!
