Ah, I can just see it in my minds eye now, casting its glow over the A127 from Basildon to Southend.

Shit just realised it’s my niece’s wedding on Sat 19th, which puts a bit of a spanner in the works! Damn damn damn.

I’d have to cut short on the Weds I guess. Where would that be?

i would love to join you guys on this trip, however with this devilish cancer nightmare hanging over our heads (my partner not me), I just can't commit to anything at the moment. Even the GMU and the foreign trip are at risk.

that's a bummer figwold:(,on the Wednesday morning we will be leaving Skye and heading up to Applecross then around the coast to Ullapool,If you left from Skye you would take the A87 to Invergarry then down the A82 to Spean bridge where you would take the A86 to Dalwhinnie and join the A9 to head south..you would be about 550 miles to bedford.......If you left on the Thursday morning from Ullapool and took the A835 towards Inverness then straight down the A9 you would be 565 miles to Bedford..if you did this and stayed overnight somewhere you should get home friday afternoon?
