Thanks. Yer it’s enamel but if I’m honest I got a local spray shop to do it and I wasn’t happy with it.... coverage was poor and it’s way too gloss for my liking.... I ended up removing the sump and getting that powdered and I’ll probably do the same to the covers too but didn’t want to split the engine to enable total powder coating.

At a guess - as the reg on my bike also end in 'WX' and is 'N' reg - the supplying dealer would be Eddy's of Leeds. I believe they were the only Triumph dealers for many miles around at that time (1995). Just saying!
Nice work Sherlock! It’s got about 9 previous owners on the log book! I’m the last one now though, I’ve set myself the challenge of never selling a petrol engine again, given the creeping doom of the electric engine!
They were and wx is a old Leeds letters as well as WR no ws but WT WV WW WY UA UB VY &BN. Oh and as for Eddys of Leeds, I went to look at a bonneville in 2008 and bought a bloody Harley from there instead as they changed brands. Bad move!
Through Bennett’s, I told them it has some body mods and different cans etc, they seemed fine with that.
