I'm planning to remove the red rim tapes off my street triple r and replace it with a quality after market ones Something like this. ...
Talking of cake, my wife made some banana bread the other day, boy is it good ! made with over ripe banana's, chopped walnuts, sultana's and Lambs Navy Rum (with the alcohol boiled off unfortunately) but with all the flavour and moist and surprisingly light(ish). Shame you can't all try it.
I like cake. And syrup sponge with custard. Lemon meringue pie is also very acceptable. Spotted Dick anyone? Apple pie with custard/cream/ice cream/ Wensleydale cheese (I am a Yorkshireman after all). Christmas pudding with rum sauce. I like all of these and many others besides. Do you have a favourite?
Christmascake and Danish Blue Ponge Cake with Royal icing Raspberry Cheese Cake (my own recipe) Scones and Cream and Strawberry jam Banoffee. Dentist gave me the all clear today and no need for rough stuff
Will do - could actually meet at Loomies and take a decent route through via Romsey. It is popular with bikers and you get to do this bit of road known as "the zig-zag". Just need good weather and no work!
After temps less than a week ago of -4c now I get a day of 18c, so time to get the bike out. Got the tank pads stuck on while it was a bit warmer but still had to hit them a little with the heat gun. Hope they stick ok!
Hey, I live quite near to Compton Abbas air field, if you're in the area you could check out the new bike showroom in Gillingham, Moto Corsa (Mirus 55) there's a cafe there too, yes, great roads in the area but sadly the road surface on zig zag hill now replicates a bl**dy farm track.
It’s an XJ600, it’s blue Dilligaf mate... for the moment... and yes it’s a Yammie, but I’m hoping it’ll grow out of that (it’s already trying to be a Triumph by firing on three cylinder some of the time). It works and is road legal, but needs quite ab it of fettling really... so it may end up being more project than just the commuter (which is its main purpose for being in my tiny garage)
