Several pints of Breakspears Bitter this afeternoon/evening on my departments Chrimbo bash. I will almost certainly feel shyte in the morning but I am two pints of water in since getting home.
Be drinking the usual in my local tonight and watching the band Christmas drinks tomorrow afternoon with the lads from work Newcastle are playing at home tomorrow so I mustn't get too drunk and start singing Sunderland songs not in the middle of Newcastle
Don't dentists make you bloody mad. Had to go in early for some emergency surgery. They gave me a piece of paper with instructions. No exercise, no cycling, no alcohol for 24 hours. Not very helpful is it? I've not a clue which 24 hours they mean. So I'm sat here with my diary sipping a nice peaty dram of Laphroaig 10 yr old trying to decide if I can fit it in before the New Year or best leave it till after.
2000 was a good year for Claret, apparently. On the theme of Irish whisky though my hints about the office about half bottles of Jamesson being the same as our secret santa limit paid off. The others mainly got risqué or stupid gifts but I got my fall-down favourite. Hoorah. Ight be gone before Christmas though so hoping there will be more wrapped up for me under the tree (which is still in the loft for another week ).
How did you get that first guess??? .........oh shit I think my BPOS has got Jack Daniels in the brake system
Leffe blonde then Roche Mazet Merlot. Selection of cheeses then a selection of very nicely flavoured macaroons.
To be honest, I do not... By now, I am pretty convinced, there are some German products on the market solely produced to be exported. But then: I just stumbled over some pretty nasty stuff called Killepitsch. They claim to export it into 12 countries but also sell it here. It is a herbal liqueur. Tastes like medicine; on the other hand, there are people saying the same of Laphroaig... Cheers!
