Last ride of the year today before being SORNd tomorrow. A bit cold but worth it. Tested my new screen but not sure that I like it so will decide next year if it will be kept or not. Will keep the Bonnie taxed so that I will have something to ride during the winter months on dry days if there is no salt on the roads. Roll on Spring 2018.
Good to keep one bike running through the winter. I will use the Bonnie if it's dry and sunny (like today) but the Tiger will get used all the time unless there is snow on the ground. Surprising how many dry days there were last winter - the longest gap for not riding was only three days.
Agree with the waste of money just to sit unused but I think it’s worth keeping one taxed just in case we get some decent weather and the salt gets washed off the roads . Might just save me from my winter depression if I can get out a few times.
Bike SORN'd at the end of October and re-insured on 1st November. Too many scallywags around these days, and knowing my luck ..........
Definitely keep them insured. You just never know what may happen even at home in a locked garage. It would probably not save much money to stop the cover as they charge an admin fee for just about everything.
