Cars the same colour as the road. Why would you, make, design, sell, drive one of these. some are the colour of wet roads, some dry, dark greys slate all the fashion at the moment, there I said they are fashionable so I single handedly sold 20,000 more. think for your self people
" oh thats a nice colour, oh and it matches the road, super lets have that one"

My Focus is bright red for this reason. It's called Mars Red but is almost orange in the sunlight and you cannot easily miss it. Quite like the gunmetal-type colours but would not have one because of the camouflage issue.

An insurance gripe from me today as well. Text from the bank this morning tells me I'm overdrawn. Eh?? Log on (good job I'm at home today) and sure enough there is a £600 deduction from a well known sea-faring-related insurance company. I knew it was renewal time about now but no email, no letter, nothing. Gave them an earful mainly as they just used the renewal quote instead of "checking" the policy first - got a ton back. Robbing barstewards indeed.

Odd the family above were left after the accident. I have two plastic fobs from RAC and Ford in my wallet with accident assistance numbers on them. I got the Ford one free with my main stealer service. Probably an affiliated accident management tie-in company but the blurb was all about get you home, temp car, help with claims and all that. Perhaps the insurance companies don't do it because others do it for them now?

Ryanair what a mess:mad: what the feck is it all about?? Just watched a news clip of Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary "explaining the situation" but i'm none the wiser:confused:

I booked flight tickets to Valencia for the Moto gp last week and for the first time they are flying direct from Scotland:) we usually have to fly to Alicante and hire a car or get the train to Valencia, I booked direct with Ryanair, but had signed up for price alerts from Skyscanner previously, I received a text from Skyscanner today saying the price has risen substantially, so I logged on out of curiosity and the only flight I can see involves a stopover and what should have been a flight that takes under 3 hours will now be almost 6 hours..but I havn’t heard anything from Ryanair about this,as you can imagine trying to contact them at the moment is impossible,So i don't know if the flight i've booked is still on or if i will have to take the flight with the stopover:confused: I have paid for the flight so I’m not expecting to have to pay anymore, in fact I was hoping for some sort of compensation but it seems you only get compensation if you were informed less than 14 days before the flight.Although they are saying they will be cancelling 50 flights a day for the next 6 weeks it seems it is going beyond that as my flight isn’t until the 9th November..over 7 weeks away:(

On that theme, I had been a committed smoker since my teenage years, then after divorce got smitten by a nice young lady, a non-drinker (except champagne at do's), and non-smoker. Our first date was 25 July 1993 (me aged 41), 'If you want to kiss me you'll have to quit smoking', she told me. I haven't had a fag since. It so easy to quit when you have the right motivation.

I don't think Michael O'Leary knows himself what he's doing. It looks like the pilots have him by the scrotum on holiday entitlement issues and dangling the carrot of £££££K at them is not going to work.I really feel for those, like yourself Dougie, who are left trying to make sense of a stupid decision made, with knock on effects:(.I certainly hope this will be resolved and you get to the Moto GP:)
