I've been after getting some circular bar end mirrors for a while but not wanted to bodge up the inside of my handlebars, I tried some from Halcyon at £40 each but they didn't fit, could have done if I'd knocked out the bar inserts, but it was irreversible so didn't want to risk it, what if I didn't like them? Also they were quite big. One criteria was they had to fold in to get through the shed door.
Eventually took the plunge and ordered these. from China I know!!
There are the same on Amazon at about twice the price. I think someones onto a bit of free enterprise there!
Anyways, I ordered them, free postage, 10 to 20 days expected delivery, no probs no rush, chance of paying duty on them, no surprise but worth the risk. They arrived in 5 days, no duty. How do they do that??
1st impressions, packaging was minimal and the mirrors had come loose

This is what you get in the pack, the allen key was in a plastic bag

    They felt fairly solid
A bit worried about the blue tint being a bit dark but works fine outside.
For the Thruxton you can take the expanding inserts off and they screw straight into threaded insert in the bar which is a bonus, and why I went for them.
they did get scratched in the packaging, but that can be touched up

As I said it had to be foldable

The mirror can be over slung, under slung or wherever. I found if Under slung you dont get a clear view behind you without a major move of the head, so went for somewhere in between. Might change when I go out for a run

They are pretty well adjustable with the 3 pivot points. no ball joint thingy on the mirror but using the 2 pivots on the arm you can find what you want. all use the same size allen key and apart from the bar end are adjustable on the go.

I have the feeling that a spring washer might be useful on the bar end bolt though.
I think that the field of view might be a bit narrow and maybe the mirror could do with being a bit concave. I haven't had a chance of a test run yet due to the weather but when |I do I'll update this regarding vibration FOV etc.
First impressions are... an OK item, good for finding out if you get along with little round barends and if you do you can go out and get the stylish better made ones at £100 + per pair, or stick with the cheapies.

Hope you're not thinking of filtering through traffic jams :p My Thruxton R has Bar end mirrors. Look great but in practice awful blind spots (I know life saver glance sorts that out thank goodness, have nearly been caught out a couple of times) Secondly they are very vulnerable when filtering, bit like cats whiskers, but they don't bend.

These fold in and they're smaller than the original bar ends so filtering won't be a problem!

Be nice to design electrical folding mirrors wouldn't it? Any budding engineers out there? Dragons Den? They look fantastic on your Thrux.
    Enjoy :grinning:

Ok update! I took em out for a ride and I must admit I'm impressed. Vision ain't bad considering their size and absolutely no vibrations , better than the originals! So I think they're going to stay for a bit

Well I had to remove a spacer to get them into mine. You could always wrap some tape round them
