    Hi Gents,
Not been on for a while. My 1991 Daytona 1000 cooling fan doesn't wanna kick in & play anymore. Now the old girl took her time switching the fan on in the first place but ive heard of a mod using one from an old Volvo. Any one heard of this? Have a model or part number?? It kicks in a little earlier than the Triumph one & I want to try it out.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

New Forum looks great by the way!

Personally I would keep with the original with the same temp to kick the fan in purely because I have no issue at all with the standard set up. If it aint broke why fix it! or you must have a problem elsewhere.
btw when racing triumphs we never altered the temps in any way and had no problem either.

I would suggest you think again, it probably seems hot as the hot air is blown on
your already hot legs. But in reality the engine runs much hotter in a race.
Do you need to consider your oil breaking down due to engine heat. I dare say it does not cross your mind. But in racing it is very carefully monitered. Then the oil sent away for annalasis
