Haven't been logged in for a while to which I apologise life just gets in the way I'm afraid, but Thurs night I was getting me Speedy out of the garage (I park it on my workshop lift and chain and lock it to that) unfortunately it went past the vertical and fell away from me, pulling me over the bike as it went down. It was frecking heavy but I did eventually get it up and back up and on its side stand with the help of my queen. So lucky that I had the R&G crash bobbins fitted to the front wheel and the frame and so the only damage was a slightly dented side cover on the radiator with some red paint on it from my workshop lift. A big big shoutout here to Conquest Carbon who supplied 2 Carbon replacements (ordered Thurs night and delivered Saturday morning). I now park the bike simply in the garage. After all that waffling the point of the post.... hopefully to help stop this thing happening again I want to lower the bike as I am (5ft 6ish) always on tip toe. Has anyone done this ? I found a company (lust racing or Summat like that) that can supply a kit, has anyone used them or lowered their bike. I aim to also get a low boy silencer to keep the weight lower down I have looked at SC and Leo Vince has anyone got them fitted or something similar.

Lowered mine by lowering the rear by 25mm using Lust links.
Dropped the front by 14mm (I think) to match.
    No problems with the hadnling

You can also get a Triumph lower seat that is 20mm lower.

Yeah seen the seat but the lowering kit is like half the money so I was interested in people's experiences. Thanks

I've also lifted the bars by 20mm to make it more comfortable on the wrists for me at 5'11".

Not quite the same but lowered SWMBO's Street Triple R with lowering link and dropped forks 10mm. Had to raise bars to give room for fork adjusters, might be OK without on the Speed. Another consideration is the side stand might need shortening, solved it on the Street by fitting stand from standard bike (which is shorter) to her R.

Nice to support local business, but get a quote up front Modal, you don't want to be getting any nasty surprises.
